Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the services provided by avocadoMC (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). All users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must agree to and comply with these Terms to use the Service.

Article 1 (Applicability)

  1. These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the User and the Service regarding the use of the Service.
  2. In addition to these Terms, the Service may establish various individual rules and regulations (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Provisions"). Regardless of their name, these Individual Provisions shall constitute part of these Terms.

Article 2 (Relationship with Official Entities and Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. Relationship with Official Entities: This Service is an unofficial fan site and has no affiliation with Microsoft, Mojang AB, or their affiliates. Minecraft is a registered trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
  2. Ownership of Rights: Copyrights for texts, images, programs, and other materials within the Service belong to the Service or the respective legitimate right holders.
  3. Rights to Posted Content: The copyright of content posted by Users (images, schematic files, text, etc.) shall remain with the respective User. However, the User grants the Service a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use (reproduce, adapt, publicly transmit, etc.) such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
  4. When using the Service, Users shall comply with the Fan Content Policy and Commercial Usage Guidelines established by Microsoft and Mojang AB.

Article 3 (Registration and External Integration)

  1. Registration for the Service is performed through external account integration (OAuth) using Google or Discord.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their integrated external accounts and shall not allow any third party to use them.
  3. External SNS links (YouTube, X, etc.) set in the user profile are entered at the User's own risk, and the Service does not authenticate the ownership of such accounts.

Article 4 (Prohibited Actions)

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Acts related to criminal activities.
  3. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of the servers or networks of the Service, other Users, or third parties.
  4. Acts of impersonating a third party (celebrities, official representatives, other Users, etc.).
  5. Collecting or accumulating personal information of other Users.
  6. Unauthorized access or attempting such access.
  7. Acts that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other Users.
  8. Including malicious data or computer viruses within schematic files.
  9. Engaging in unauthorized commercial promotion, advertising, solicitation, or business activities within the Service (however, introducing or promoting one's own creative content or SNS accounts is permitted within the scope of the Service's purpose).
  10. Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Service.

Article 5 (Management of Posted Content)

  1. Users guarantee that the data they post (schematic files, video links, images, etc.) does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  2. If posted content falls under the prohibited actions in Article 4 or if deemed necessary for operation, the Service may delete such data or restrict its use without prior notice to the User.

Article 6 (Restriction of Use and Deregistration)

  1. In the event a User violates any provision of these Terms, the Service may delete posted data, suspend all or part of the Service, or terminate the User's registration without prior notice.

Article 7 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)

  1. Warranty of Content: The Service makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or safety of provided information, schematic files, or external links.
  2. Responsibility for Troubles: The Service shall not be held liable for any disputes between Users or any device malfunctions or troubles resulting from the use of schematic files or other data.
  3. External Links: The Service assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred at external sites linked from the Service.
  4. Service Suspension: The Service may suspend or interrupt operations without notice due to maintenance or force majeure. The Service shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such suspension.

Article 8 (Changes to Service Content)

  1. The Service may change or discontinue the provision of the Service without notice to Users and shall not be liable for any damages incurred as a result.

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms of Service)

  1. The Service may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users. If a User uses the Service after any changes to these Terms, they are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Service's operation.
